First Holy Communion

Preparation for the celebration of the sacrament of First Holy Communion is offered during the second-grade year, however, the expectation is that the child attend Faith Formation class or a parochial school during their first-grade year, per diocesan recommendations and requirements.

Three preparation sessions take place at St. Anne’s Church. These sessions typically take place in winter/early spring and occur after the child has prepared for and received their First Reconciliation. Families with children preparing for sacraments must be registered at the parish.

Adults – Adults are always welcome to receive the final sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and Holy Communion.  It is never too late to commit yourself to the Lord through the gifts of His sacraments.  For those wanting to know more about God and how to become a member of His Church, the program in place for you is called RCIA.  (Right of Christian Initiation for Adults)
